When you select a view element in one visualization, the corresponding data in all the other visualizations either gets filtered or highlighted. This is known as Coordinated Visualization. It enables you to visually analyze correlated, complex information.
In the following example,
- When you click on Sub-task in Work Category container, notice the effect of coordinated visualization.
- The corresponding data gets highlighted in other visualization like Assignee Contribution (Pie), Work Status (Bar) and Priority (Donut).
- The Grid visualization filters the data, hence the Jira issues for other Work Categories are filtered out.
- You can select multiple data items by pressing the Ctrl key.
- Press the Esc key to remove the effect of coordinated visualization in all the visualizations.
Note: Each visualization has a default reaction (Highlighting or Filtering) when selection is done on other visualizations. To change this default behavior, see Customize Coordinated Visualization. |
