Supported Authentication:

Note: any one from the Basic or Token Based authentication given below can be used to configure the Artifactory Instance/Connector.

1. Basic Authentication 

a) Basic authentication using username and password

To configure Artifactory to use basic authentication, follow the steps below:-

1. Enter your Artifactory URL for example http://artifactory.klera.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add a user-friendly name for the account “Artifactory Account”
3. Enter your username and password
4. Click on “Save”

b) Basic authentication using username and API Key

To configure Artifactory to use basic authentication, follow the steps below:-

1. Enter your Artifactory URL for example http://artifactory.klera.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add a user-friendly name for the account “Artifactory Account”
3. Enter your username and API key
4. Click on “Save”

c) Basic authentication using username and Token

To configure Artifactory to use basic authentication, follow the steps below:-

1. Enter your Artifactory URL for example http://artifactory.klera.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add a user-friendly name for the account “Artifactory Account”
3. Enter your username and access token.
4. Click on “Save”

2. Token Based Authentication 

a) Token based authentication using bearer token

To configure Artifactory to use Token based authentication, follow the steps below:-

1. Enter your Artifactory URL for example http://artifactory.klera.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add a user-friendly name for the account "Artifactory Account".
3. Enter the following details: 
   Key :    "Authorization"
   Value :  Bearer<SPACE><token>
4. Check "Pass Parameter(s) in Header".
5. Click on "Save".

b) Token based authentication using API Key

To configure Artifactory to use Token based authentication, follow the steps below:-

1. Enter your Artifactory URL for example http://artifactory.klera.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add a user-friendly name for the account "Artifactory Account".
3. Enter the following details: 
   Key :    "X-JFrog-Art-Api"
   Value :  API Key
4. Check "Pass Parameter(s) in Header".
5. Click on "Save".

IMPORTANT: Please make sure your Artifactory instance must be accessible from the Klera Machine.
