Supported Authentication: Token Based Authentication

IMPORTANT: Please make sure your TestCollab instance must be accessible from the Gathr Machine.

To generate token for TestCollab connector for the cloud instance, follow the steps below:

1. Click on 'Profile' Section.

2. Click on 'My Profile Setting' Section, then on 'API Token' and select 'Generate new API Token'

3. Enter a Label and click on 'Create'.

4. You will see the generated token as shown in the image below. Copy it to some safe place.

To configure TestCollab Connector using Token based authentication, follow the steps below:

1. Enter TestCollab URL, for example- https://api.testcollab.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add user friendly name for account for example- “TestCollab Account”
3. Enter the following details:
   1. Key : token
   2. Value :<Your Token>
4. Click on “Save”.

To configure TestCollab Connector using Token based authentication, follow the steps below:

1. Enter TestCollab URL, for example- https://api.testcollab.io
2. Select “Create New Account” and add user friendly name for account for example- “TestCollab Account”
3. Enter the following details:
   1. Key : Authorization
   2. Value : Bearer<SPACE><Your Token>
4. Click on “Save”.
